A couple months back I was able to assist Marielle Hayes with another wedding. This is Kristin and Brent. They had their wedding in their backyard in Petaluma on the most gorgeous day of the month. The weather wasn't too hot or too cold and it made for a perfect wedding day. Kristin and Brent are one of the most amazing people ever! As you'll be able to tell with the photos, they truly love each other and make each other so happy. This wedding was filled with so much laughter and fun and I had a great time. And the details at this wedding were amazing! Kristin is such a talented person! Congrats to the both of you! Enjoy!

Evelyn and Dave's wedding must have been one of the most gorgeous ones I have ever seen. Not only were they such an amazing couple, but the location and entire day was perfect!

A few Friday's ago I was privileged to assist Marielle again in another awesome wedding! I swear, she has THE BEST clients ever!

Jane and Alex got married at the Oakland Mormon Temple. Weather forecast for the day was rain rain rain, but God answered prayers and it didn't rain! Which was perfect for us since we had so many awesome places for them to get pictures taken at!

The bride and the groom looked amazing! And you could really tell they were just made for each other! I just love seeing couples so in love!

Valentine's Day at the Zoo!

Been such a long time since I updated this blog with some pictures..so here goes!

On Monday, me and the boyfriend decided to take a mini photo trip to the SF Zoo. It was the first time I took my new camera out for some shooting! Definitely had a blast watching the animals, but it also makes me sad how they're stuck in small enclosures. Here are some photos from the day. Enjoy! :0)

First up were the giraffes!

Then a dash to the other end of the zoo to watch the grizzly bear feeding. These pictures didn't come out as sharp as I would have wanted since there's a huge glass between you and the bears. Guess it's for our own protection :0P haha.

these gorillas were so funny..the first gorilla yawned and covered her own mouth..she acted so human-like..and the silver back posed from rock to rock for photos

Nathan and Crystal's Wedding

Definitely loving 2010 so far! I got the chance to assist Marielle Hayes at her first wedding of the year and it was amazing! I have never formally photographed a wedding so this was definitely a learning experience and Nathan and Crystal made it very easy.

I wish you two nothing but the best as you start your life together! Have an awesome time on your cruise!

Chloe Lynn Ngo's 1st Baby Shoot

As 2009 was winding down..I got one last chance to do a baby shoot. A family friend approached me about photo-ing his baby niece since his brother and sister in law were in town from Louisiana. Of course I said yes..but was still nervous photo-ing a baby. To my surprise..she was a perfect little angel in front of the camera..so photogenic! This is Chloe. She has got to be the most adorable and easy going baby ever. I took well over 100 photos and had to narrow it down to just these few for my blog.

Thank you to her parents and family for giving me the chance to photo this precious little angel! Have a safe trip home! :0)

Thanks Connie for letting me assist at this shoot. It was totally awesome and I had a blast!

So Connie's been totally rocking the photography scene. I've known her for about a year now..and I remember about when she became fascinated with SLRs and pictures. Or at least I think I know when..haha..but she's been doing her thang shooting families and their babies and she let me tag along to this one. And I'm so glad she did because it was so much fun!

Although I have an immense passion for photography and have been doing it for quite a while now..I can't see myself venturing into it completely quite yet..but it'll always be a huge hobby and a huge passion and I would love to do small jobs on the side of course..

Rock n Roll Birthday for Morgan

Thank you so much to Morgan's parents and family for letting me be a part of her first birthday. There house was gorgeous and they did such an amazing job decorating for Morgan's first birthday. And the food was AMAZING! I definitely ate too much that day. From the catered food in the living room to the many desserts and pastries in the kitchen, it was impossible to escape the food, so when I wasn't snapping pictures of Morgan, I was stuffing my face with food. Haha. Here are some more pictures of Morgan on her big day!

So I wait an entire year for FleetWeek since I love watching planes fly and do stunts and tumble and roll and what not..so I was definitely excited to go out to the city to watch them this year..but to my disappointment..after two flights..the BlueAngels disappeared altogether...

Despite the BlueAngels not flying more than two rounds..I did catch a few shots and tried a photomerge...and yes..theres a shot of them BlueAngels flying also..courtesy of the boyfriend's zoom lens and camera :0)

Half Moon Bay

For Labor Day, Heink and I decided to do a little "daycation" and go to Half Moon Bay.We went to this place called Gray Whale's Cove, which is a little beach front that is sorta secluded and a little hard to find.

This was a fun little day. A little hiking..a little relaxation. Oh how I miss the beach!

First Photoshoot with Marielle!

First blog post AND first photoshoot! Per Marielle's request, I started a blog..we'll see how often I update this thing :0)

So today I had the privilege of going on a photoshoot with Marielle Hayes (www.blog.mariellehayes.com). We had a bridal session with THE BEST couple ever. They made my first shoot so much easier than I expected. I was extremely nervous before the shoot, but Marielle definitely calmed me down..and once I met the couple..I felt much better.
